WhatIWore: Hello friends! Here’s what I wore over the weekend to the farmer’s market. I wish I could say I kept it on all day, but it was hot AF and we were sweating bullets by 10 am, so after photos, we worked inside for the rest of the day and I changed into shorts and a tee shirt! No complaints by me… I finished painting my master bedroom, which I hope to photograph today and blog about this week. It’s amazing what a coat (or three) of paint can do!

I wear this dress often (five more ways here) and I still love it as much as the day I bought it. It’s still available at Free People and in a variety of colors. I also have it in blue, which I over dyed a few weeks ago in this post.

When: July 22, 2017

What:
Shades: Karen Walker ‘Super Duper’
Dress: Free People
Sandles: Clarks (gift of company from a few years ago)
On Bea: June and January for GroVia cloth Diaper

Where: Farmer’s Market

But let’s be real, the dress is far from the star of these photos. Look at my darling Bea Bea girl! She’s getting so big! Already 6.5 months old! She’s crawling and sitting up and starting some solid foods. We are so in love with our charming and beautiful baby girl. Beatrix - you’re wonderful!

WhatIWore: Here’s what I’m wearing to run tons of errands around town with my kids today. When I saw this dress at Target, my initial reaction was: CUTE! My second thought was - don’t you already have a lot of black and white polka dot dresses? I decided to try it on anyway and loved the look of it. It’s probably supposed to be an off the shoulder thing, but that makes me look a little too broad up top. I was saving it for a date night but I could be waiting way too long for that to happen. So ta da! Here it is!

I always like to let you know if a top/dress is nursing friendly. This one is, if you’re ok with a full boob reveal or if you use a cover. I’ll just stick to nursing in the car or at home with this dress, but there’s plenty of elastic to make it comfortable for me and baby!

WhatIWore: Good Morning! Coming ‘atcha with an internet connection and a new batch of outfit photos. For the past week I’ve been spacing showers a littttle too far and wearing the same tired jean shorts every day. Moving house with two small kids is quite the challenge. A week or so later and I’ve starting to feel more settled! I am so in love with life out here, but me time has been non existent. So yesterday morning, I got showered and hit up Target right when they opened to do a little shopping for myself, then came home, changed and had Adam do outfit photos for me!

Unlike my unsuccessful journey to the Fashion Mall in Indy, I really did well finding things yesterday! These palazzo pants and sleeveless jacket are two of them! One of the things I’m coming to terms with is that I just like what I like - so even if that means I buy another black and white print or olive jacket - so be it. If one shouldered ruffles aren’t your thing, there’s no need to push the issue, #amirite?

When: May 23, 2017

What:
Shades: Karen Walker ‘Super Duper’
Sleeveless Jacket: Target (Mossimo)
Pants: Target (Mossimo) - now on clearance online!
Sandals: Rockport (gift from previous partnership)

Where: Errands all over town

These pants really surprised me - for a high rise elastic waistband they are really flattering. Bonus points because they’re incredibly comfortable too. And long! I wore them with flats but I could shimmy them down an inch or two at the waist and do with a short heeled sandal too. I paid full price in store, but I saw they’re on clearance online, so run run run to get yours!

As for the jacket, it’s a great option for nursing mamas who’d like a light layer for modesty and something more than just wearing the same basic tee shirts day after day.

WhatIWore: Does it sound like I’m a broken record around here when I say how much I like repeating outfits? Yesterday I was doing some closet cleaning and found this skirt - which I’ve been looking for forever!! It’s nothing super special - just a jersey knit tube skirt, but it’s comfy and chic and goes with so much!

Sure - I could have remixed it with something new, but I was thinking back to this outfit and decided, what the hell, let’s copy it from head to toe. Granted, the main difference is that I wore it while 6 months pregnant! I bought my normal size and it fit me then and now.

When: May 8, 2017

What:
Shades: Karen Walker ‘Super Duper’
Jacket: Old Navy (similar here)
Black V Neck Tee: Old Navy
Stretchy Tube Skirt: Old Navy (in black here)
Booties: Rag + Bone

Where: Stroller Walk + Errands (I changed to sandals around 11:30)

All of these pieces are my go-to basics, and I do wear them lots of other ways. Coincidently, they’re all from the same store, but I didn’t buy any of them to wear together… it just happened that way!
