What I Wore | Embroidered Blouse
/WhatIWore: When you’ve got nine people staying together, getting out of the house on time is nearly impossible - but, BUT!!! We managed to round up everyone for some family photos AND get to dinner by 5 (because… babies). This is what I wore that night. I knew it would be windy and chilly and the only long pants had with me that weren’t overly casual were these ecru jeans.
When: March 15, 2017
What:
Shades: Karen Walker ‘Super Duper’
Blouse: Old Navy
Jeans: J.Crew Factory
Sandals: Clark’s (older style)
Where: Dinner at the Sandbar with the whole crew
I’m not a huge fan of bright white jeans, especially in the winter. Especially during snow storms. But for a tropical climate I think they work year round. This pair is a high rise version from J.Crew factory and it’s not that intense bluish white you see in summer styles (this is called ‘frost wash’). I went up an additional size because I think overly tight white jeans aren’t a great look. Also because I knew I’d be doing my part to eat as many donuts as possible while on vacation (grand tally - 9) Part of me wonders what the hell I was thinking buying them with two messy kids, but I made it home without any stains so I guess that’s a win.
I love this top - I’ve been wearing it for a couple weeks now. It’s great for easy nursing access and the style and color are a great bridge between getting dressed for winter and spring. It also comes as a dress (it’s from Old Navy)
Baby Bea is wearing a romper (which I like to pronounce ‘womper’) that Nana gave to her (from Old Navy) and a headband that matches her MilkMaid swaddler.
