What I Wore | Camp Quirk

WhatIWore: We had such a fun time on our family trip into the woods last week! Here’s another outfit I wore while we were there. Adam and I went into a nearby town for breakfast and wifi (Brew in Jasper - we highly recommend!) so I put on a little lipstick with my woodsy camp side look.

You may remember that I wore this patch jacket last year during the same trip, but I’ve added about six new patches! Unfortunately I didn’t get sharp shots of all of them, but my favorite is the Indiana Bicentennial patch that Adam had made up last year with the help of a designer friend of ours (Ryan Irvin - he’s awesome!) What I Wore | The Great Outdoors

WhatIWore: Knowing we’ll be cuddled up much of this winter with a newborn, Adam and I are getting Felix outside and into the woods as much as possible this fall. And it’s not like twisting our arms or anything - we’re both nature lovers anyway! Over the weekend we had a nice family breakfast out and then skipped rocks on Lake Monroe and played in the leaves. What I Wore | Patched Jacket

WhatIWore: Hey guys! Check it out! I’ve figured out a way to finally display my small collection of patches. Earlier this week I showed you my inspiration board of ideas and now here it is!

I chose my two favorite patches for the front of the jacket but sewed most of them to the back. I spaced them out into different groupings, because I hope I’ll add many many more in the years to come! Instead of ironing them on, I’ve hand sewed them to allow for adjustments in the future. I still have quiet a few to go… but my poor little fingers were just too sore to keep sewing. For now, I love the way it looks!

What I Wore | Woodsy

             

WhatIWore: Here’s something I wore over the weekend with my boys. We didn’t actually go to the woods at all - just an early morning breakfast at the Village Deli! I’ve never had a puffy vest before, but it’s so cozy! I layered it over a flannel plaid shirt, which always makes me think of my husband because he’s such a teenager of the 90s and loves plaid shirts. It’s pretty much the only thing he wears. I say this all of the time, but as much as I love my funky vintage dresses and high heeled boots I also really love casual outfits like this. Luckily, life let’s us do both!
