What I Wore | Spirit of Summer
WhatIWore: Felix and I have had such an awesome summer so far. Since I’ve been spending more time with him and less time at my computer, it’s almost felt like the summers I had when I was a kid! I remember getting off the bus after our last day of school and thinking how endless the summer felt and how much possibility there was to have fun. And that’s how I feel playing with my son now!
I’ve kept my summer wardrobe super easy - either jean shorts and a top or dresses (which were in storage for the most part while I was pregnant or nursing!) So it’s nice to just throw on a hat and sandals and a dress and go. For Felix our issue is more about staying on top of laundry because this kid loves to get dirty! I picked up these outfits at Old Navy (today’s post sponsor!) I love how cute Felix’s little arms look in a tank top (which reads “Live every day like the first day of summer”) and the printed shorts are great at hiding little grass stains (because he wears the same clothes all day).
I just love these photos of us playing together. Felix has a ZEST for life (all caps!) and he brings us so much joy. We’re absolutely embracing the spirit of summer - I hope you are too!
