WhatIWore: Happy (almost) Thanksgiving! We’ll be taking the next few days off to spend time with our families - the people we’re most grateful for! Instead of talking about my outfit, I’d like to ramble a smidge about how thankful I am for the many blessings in my life. My precious son Felix, my husband, my generous and loving parents and in laws. My extended family and friends. I am so grateful for my health and safety. I have a warm home, a fridge full of food, a community of smart, kind and funny friends. I can close my eyes at night and fall asleep knowing that life is good. There are oodles of little things that aren’t nearly as important as the big stuff, but still worth acknowledging. I get to be creative each day! I have cable! I have time to sit and knit while my son plays! The list of things that bring me joy is so long and so I’m happy to have a day to really focus on those people and things. But mainly the people! I hope you’re able to enjoy the day doing the same.
